Getting here & arrival
Mirabello Terrace is in the centre of Agios Nikolaos, two minutes from Lake Voulismeni. Most of our guests land at Heraklion airport (HER), about 60 km away. This is how we get here ourselves.

By car or taxi it takes about an hour, depending on traffic.
Our tip
Taxi with Crete Cab
When we need a taxi from the airport to Agios Nikolaos, we use Crete Cab ourselves. You book the ride online in advance. With our link, the airport and Agios Nikolaos are already filled in.
Flexible
Rental car
About 60 km east on the national road, roughly an hour depending on traffic. With a car you are free for day trips around eastern Crete. For parking, see Arriving in town below.
Public transport
KTEL bus
KTEL coaches to Agios Nikolaos leave from the central bus station in Heraklion, and some also stop at the airport. Otherwise the blue city bus takes you from the airport to the bus station. Timetables change with the season, so please check them before you travel.

The entrance
Before you arrive, we send you a photo of the entrance and the exact map pin, so you find the door straight away.
Parking
The apartment has no private parking. Directly opposite is a paid public car park, Parking by the Lake. A space there is subject to availability and can’t be reserved in advance. You pay the operator on site, in advance for your stay – just let them know you’re staying with us.
By bus
The bus stops at the KTEL bus station in Agios Nikolaos, about 600 m from the apartment. With light luggage it is an easy walk of around 8 minutes, with a short climb at the start. With heavier bags, a taxi gets you here in a couple of minutes.
